Does it cost anything to post a listing?
No. Posting a listing on Monti is free for private individuals, and we have no plans to charge for it — should that change, it appears on /prices first and is announced well in advance. There are a couple of optional extras with a planned price, and through all of 2027 even those are free. See the full price list →
What is free for private individuals?
- Creating an account.
- Creating and publishing listings in every category — cars, property, boats and the marketplace. No expiry date, no renewal fee.
- Contacting sellers and replying to enquiries.
- Saving favourites and saving searches, with email alerts about new matches.
Optional extras
If you want more people to see your listing, you can put it on top with a Monti+ listing — seven days at the top of the results and on the front page, one click from your own listing. It costs a little (see /prices) — the only thing that costs on Monti today. Optional, and the listing works just as well without it.

Every price is on /prices — we publish them openly so nothing comes as a surprise. The principle is simple: what is automated is free or cheap; only when a human helps you personally does it cost real money, and that price is stated openly first.
For businesses
Do you run a business — a car dealership, an estate agency, a boat dealership or something else? Business accounts and advertising are free through 2027, and the planned price after that is published openly on /prices, announced well in advance.
