For you who want to sell

It should be easy to let something pass on to a new owner. At Monti you post your listing in minutes — at no cost.

How to sell

Click "Post a listing". Choose a category: Car, Property, Boat or Second-hand market.
Add photos and an honest description. Good photos and clear text lead to faster sales. Describe the condition, what's good and what should be mentioned.
Set a price. You decide.
Publish — free. Your listing is live. If you want more people to see it, you can later choose to boost it.
Reply when someone gets in touch. Interested buyers message you directly. You manage the dialogue and arrange a viewing, pickup or shipping with the buyer.

How to buy

Search for what you want. Type a search term, or browse the categories.
Filter until you hit the mark. Each category has its own filters — for cars you'll find make, model, model year, mileage and price; for property, floor area, home type and location; for boats, type and length; on the second-hand market, condition, category and price. Filter on what matters to you.
Save favourites. Tap the heart on listings you want to come back to, and they are gathered under Favourites.
Save your search. Want to keep an eye on new matches? Save the search and you'll catch new listings that fit.
Contact the seller. Click "Get in touch" or "Express interest" on the listing to send the seller a message directly. Ask questions, arrange a look, and agree on the rest between yourselves.

Search and filtering

Monti is built so you can quickly find exactly what you are looking for. The filters are tailored to each category, so you don't have to wade through what isn't relevant. Feel free to combine several filters — price, location, make, condition — and narrow down until only the right matches remain.

Saved searches: Let Monti keep watch for you, so you don't miss a new bargain.

Getting in touch and agreeing on a deal

Once you have found something — or someone is interested in your listing — the conversation happens directly between buyer and seller. You agree on price, viewing, pickup and payment between yourselves, however you prefer.

Safe trading

We want the marketplace to be tidy, but your common sense is the best safeguard:

Meet in a public place in daylight.
Inspect the item before you pay.
Use traceable payment, and be cautious about paying in advance.
Is something "too good to be true"? Then it usually is.

Our role: we connect, we don't trade for you

Monti is a facilitator and meeting place. We connect buyers and sellers — but we are not a party to the transaction. We do not accept payment, do not own the items, and enter into no agreement on your behalf. The transaction itself, the payment and the handover are agreed and carried out directly between buyer and seller.
