Tips for a great listing
Good photos, an honest description and the right price are what sell fastest — here's how to get all three right.
The photos do the work
- Take plenty of photos, in good daylight, from several angles.
- Show off both the good parts and the signs of wear — honesty builds trust.
- Keep the shot tidy: place the item against a neutral background.
- Use the QR code in the listing form to take photos directly with your phone.
Write clear text
- Title: say what it is, short and precise. Ideally with make, model or size.
- Description: cover the condition, age, what's included, and why you're selling.
- Mention what should be mentioned — a small scratch or a missing part. It saves you both from misunderstandings.
Set the right price
Check what similar items are listed for, and pitch yours at a level that feels right. A realistic price gets more enquiries than one that's too high. It's your call — and you can always adjust as you go.
Choose the right category
Put the listing in the category people actually search in — that way the fields are filled in correctly and the listing is easier to find.
Reply quickly
Interested buyers message you directly. A quick, friendly reply often means a quicker sale. You steer the conversation and arrange the viewing, collection or shipping with the buyer.
